History

Advent Moravian traces its roots to South Bethlehem beginning in 1859 as a Sunday school, then a church in 1863. Two other buildings housed the English and German speaking congregation between 1868—1963. The current church building was completed in 1964 on the north side of Bethlehem in Hanover Township.

The 1957 two manual and pedal Möller organ was purchased only a few years before the final move to the north side. After recent work last September 2021 the organ console has been restored and digital enhancements from the Viscount North America company were added shortly after. It has 47 ranks all together. 12 ranks of pipe and 35 digital ranks.
